Day 14 Lemier Channel

Beautiful spiral shaped "growlers", a type of smaller iceberg named for the sound
it makes when a ship brushes along side of it.

Today we traveled through Lemier Channel to get to Pleneau, sometimes called the Iceberg Graveyard.  Lemier Channel is a scenic protected waterway with a very narrow but spectacular part of Antarctica also referred to as "The Kodak Channel".

I will devide the Pleneau into a seperate blog because there are soooooo many pictures.
Lepeord seal on the left, crabeater seal on the right

Narrow pass into Pleaeau

The pass looks a little wider as we approach, but lots of sea ice

The sun is coming out!

Beautiful glacier
